REMANUFACTURED.COM Limited Warranty 1 YEAR/UNLIMITED MILEAGE for Auto and light Trucks up to but not including one Ton

We warrant our long-block engines to be free from defects in materials & workmanship for a period of 1 year/unlimited miles with repair or replacement subject to the following terms and conditions: In addition to other items, this engine warranty specifically does not cover valve covers, filler caps, oil filters, oil filter bypass valves, oil filter housings, motor mounts, pulleys, oil pans, gaskets, flywheels, timing covers, external oil pumps, water pumps, fuel pumps, intake and exhaust manifolds, distributors, thermostats, donuts, ECM’s, gears, electrical parts of any kind, seals, fuel injectors or other fuel system components. Damage to the engine that may have been caused by the failure of these or other components not mentioned is not covered. Damage to the engine that may have been caused by the failure of any cooling, fuel, lubrication, exhaust, filtration, ignition or emission system component is not covered.

This warranty does not apply to any engine damage that may have been caused by overheating, such as, baked or blown gaskets, cylinder head cracking, scored bearings, valves stuck, piston scuffing, melting or slapping. This warranty does not apply to engine damage such as melted or broken pistons, broken piston rings, bent connecting rods, damaged cylinder heads, bearings, etc., that may have been caused by pre-ignition or detonation. This warranty does not apply to any engine damage that may have been caused by lack of lubrication regardless of cause or circumstance. or over-revving-(excessive speed).

This warranty does not cover and is not limited to, stretched connecting rod bolts, scored, melted or otherwise damaged main and connecting rod bearings, broken connecting rods and crankshaft damage. The installation mechanic must closely inspect the engine for correct application and level of completion with leak testing done on a stand just prior to installing in the vehicle. No claims will be considered for peripheral items or incorrect application once the engine is in the vehicle, such as fuel pump eccentrics, bolts and washers, freeze plugs, galley plugs, tensioners, brackets, screens, tubes, timing belts, gears, pilot bushings, guides, etc.

Warranty on engines used for racing, street performance or engines with high lift camshafts, high volume pumps, headers, aftermarket carburetors or other non-original equipment will be decided by the head technician on staff at Remanufactured.com. His decision is final!

Towing, phone calls, cab fares, missed opportunities, miscellaneous expenses, etc. will not be paid for. There is no other warranty on this engine, expressed, spoken or implied. Warranty may be transferred to a new owner if REMANUFACTURED.COM is notified within seven (7) days of ownership change and a $45.00 transfer fee is paid directly to REMANUFACTURED.COM. The new owner must also have engine service adjustments performed as detailed on page titled 500 Mile Check at our regular rates.

Cash value of this and any other warranty and their effectiveness may be applied to unpaid invoice balance or unpaid core charges fourteen days after the engine transaction has been initiated, rendering all warranties null and void. Later payment will not restore any warranty. Engines are not returnable, only repairable or replaceable at our option only. Once an engine is ordered, a commitment has been made by the customer to pay the full amount whether the customer changes their mind later on or not. Any sum of money paid toward an engine, including deposits, whether Paypal, E-gold, cash, e-check, euros, wampum, trade goods, or other financial instrument, signifies that the full amount is due and balance must be paid within 30 days and prior to our release of the engine. Any deposit paid is not returnable and signifies the customer will pay the full amount whether the customer changes their mind later on or not.

Warranty repairs will be performed at a location to be determined by Remanufactured.com. Unauthorized repairs will not be paid for, and cannot be authorized retroactively.

Authorized claims are strictly limited to ( $350) three hundred fifty dollars maximum regardless of circumstances. This includes total labor for inspection, testing, removal and re-installation plus fluids, gaskets, oil etc., not originally included with the engine, etc. Cylinder head R&R $ 100, valve cover $20, oil pan $40, timing cover $50, rear seal or welsh or cam plug $100, short or long block replacement $300. Transportation and shipping costs and other costs incurred in excess of that will be paid for by the customer. Remanufactured.com shall not be liable for any delay in or impairment of performance resulting in whole or in part from Acts of God or government, labor disruptions, shortages, inability to procure product, supplies or raw materials, severe weather conditions, or any other circumstances or cause beyond the control of Remanufactured.com in the conduct of it’s business. Remanufactured.com must be given 30 days to correct any mistake or error, not counting transit time, in the construction of it’s product. If a dispute arises that cannot be amicably settled, purchaser agrees to limit legal action to the civil courts of DuPage County in the state of Illinois.

In the event that any provision of these terms and conditions are held unenforceable, it will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions and will be replaced by an enforceable provision that comes the closest to the intention underlying the unenforceable provision. This warranty covers internal combustion engine assemblies strictly sold for resale and commercial applications which are not to be considered consumer purchases. Consumer warranty action shall be with the reseller or intermediate installer. In any action between Buyer and Remanufactured.com whether sounding in contract tort or otherwise, if Remanufactured.com is the prevailing party, Remanufactured.com will be entitled to recover its reasonable attorney’s fees and expenses including fees incurred in arbitration, mediation, at trial, on appeal, or post-judgment. Any provision in any final judgment rendered in favor of Remanufactured.com will contain a provision allowing for the later assessment of attorney’s fees and costs incurred in the collection of any judgment. If Buyer does not satisfy the judgment when entered, all past due amounts are subject to service charges of 1 1/2 percent per month or the maximum lawful contract rate permitted by law. There are no warranties of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose.

It is the engine buyers responsibility to have gages and dash lights operational and monitored. Gages and dash lights that fail to operate are never Remanufactured.com’s responsibility. Damage that could be caused to the engine by overheating or loss of oil pressure or excessive engine speed is never to be made the responsibility of Remanufactured.com.

I.E. A freeze plug pops out draining the coolant from the engine. If the driver shuts off the engine immediately before the engine overheats, the warranty repair will likely be fast and at little or no cost to the parties involved. If the driver fails to see the warning light or gauge and the engine continues to be driven the engine will be extensively damaged. We will replace the freeze plug and coolant free of charge. You will be responsible for the melted pistons, cracked heads, blown gaskets etc.
