~FAQ shipping read me~ Ocean freight takes 3 weeks depending on departure dates and runs about $450 to major terminals in most of Western Europe and Hawaii. Airfreight is usually double that. Australia and the Pacific basin is about 50% more. Turnkeys are more and cannot be shipped air freight. Export engines are bought outright as cores cannot be economically returned.

We can offer assistance in dressing engines or remanufacturing yours. Pull it out and hand it over to us. We can chem strip remachine, rethread, weld, surface and otherwise remanufacture pretty much whatever it is as long as parts are available. Get your checkbook out. We punch a timecard at $90 per hour and I crack the whip.

A premium marine longblock typically comes with block, crankshaft, connecting rods, heads, lifters or cam followers, camshaft, main, rod and cam bearings, valvetrain, pistons, rings, wrist pins, valves, springs, guides, retainers, keepers, galley plugs, timing chain set or belt, seals, oil pump, gaskets and a one year unlimited hour warranty.

Longblocks, by definition, do not come with manifolds, flywheels, timing covers, balancers, slingers, eccentrics, carburetors, brackets, pick up screens or other sheet metal items, fuel, emission, electrical or ignition components.

Your original style oil pump lost pressure when hot due to the aluminum body expanding away from the iron gears, and it wore badly. The cast iron M138 does not.
There were problems with the "O" ring seal at the connection to the pickup tube, causing the oil pump to suck air resulting in oil starvation.
The new pump uses a pickup tube that is several inches shorter and has two fewer bends, which draws better and has less line drop.
