Cadillac 7 429 V8   -  -  1964      In 1964 there were two different 429 longblocks. The 62, 75 and 86 series cars used a crankshaft with a 3 3/16" hub to fit the Jetaway Hydra-Matic transmission. The Hydra-Matic 429 is reportedly interchangeable with the 1963 390 and vice-versa.
Deville, Fleetwood 60, & Eldorado cars had Turbo-Hydramatic transmissions using a cast iron ring adapter between the block and the trans.  The crankshaft hub is 3".
